Victoria Best, Executive Director
At an early age, Victoria knew she wanted to make a career out of working
with children. She started babysitting at the age of 12, always striving to
provide a child-centered environment for the children in her care. After working
for years in various Montessori and traditional pre-school and childcare environments.
Victoria started to envision her own quality Montessori program.
Victoria graduated Magna Cum Laude from Old Dominion University in Virginia
in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and Counseling. She received
her Montessori preschool and kindergarten teaching certification from NAMC
in 2005.
The year 2000 saw the opening of a small Montessori daycare, named ”The
Montessori Family Daycare Center”. This then blossomed into Cholla Montessori
in 2002. Victoria now works as the Executive Director of Cholla Montessori,
serving 30 families in Mesa.
