Our language this month is American Sign Language!  As part of our Practical Life curriculum we will be caring for our environment by learning how to Wash a Table and How to Carry a Chair.  We will work with Montessori’s Red, Blue, Yellow and Green Cylinder Boxes as part of our Sensorial Lessons.  In Mathematics we will be doing the Memory Game of Numbers.  As part of our Cultural and Science Lessons, we will be working with the Sandpaper Globe.  Also, we will be learning Montessori’s Work Cycle and practicing self-control with the Silence Game.

and “red” in French.  As part of our Practical Life curriculum we will be learning How to Put Down a Chair and How to Pour Grain.  We’ll learn about the Continents Globe and The Function of a Stem as part of our Cultural and Science lessons.  In Mathematics we will be working with Montessori’s Spindle Boxes.  We will refine our awareness of sound by playing The Silence Game, as well.  Finally, we will be working with the Mystery Bag as part of our Sensorial Lessons and also send letters to our Grandparents!
