August Birthdays: Richie turns 4 on August 3rd! Alex turns 3 on Aug 9th! Ben turns 3 on Aug 21st! And don’t forget to say “Happy Birthday” to Ms. Jesse August 23rd! Happy Birthday!
Employee of the Month is Miss Amanda! Please congratulate her for her hard work during the month of July! Our teacher who won the “Best Homeroom” award is Miss Rosy! Finally, our “Best Quiz” was turned in by Miss Patti! Congratulations & keep up the great work!
Please remember: It is important that parents call in their child’s absence or late arrival each day by 9:00 a.m. School starts no later than 9 am. We depend on accurate attendance to ensure the smooth operation of the school.
Also: Please make sure that you sign your child in and out each day, and include the time plus your full name. Finally, a two week minimum written notice is required to terminate school. If your child is going to Kindergarten or back to school, please drop us a note letting us know the exact date. We appreciate your cooperation.

Our language this month is American Sign Language! As part of our Montessori Practical Life curriculum we will be learning How to Set a Table, How to Wrap a Present and How to use a Bird Feeder. We’ll also learn about Mixing Colored Water as part of our Science lessons. In Mathematics we will be working with Montessori’s Number Rods as well as the 3-D Volume Shapes. We will make Twisted Apple Prints and work with Montessori’s Color Tablets. Finally, our End of Summer/ Luau party is Friday, August 6th Look for more information to come soon!
